Me as a bride.
Hey, I’m Tash! A creative, outgoing, and ridiculously enthusiastic human who thrives on making people feel good. I’m also a self-proclaimed motivator and inspirationalist (not sure that’s a real word, but I’m rolling with it).
In 2012, I swapped the sunny shores of South Africa for the UK. At the time, I was living my dream as a journalist—until I had a lightbulb moment. I realised I’d spent my whole life in the same place, doing the same thing, and I was itching for something more. So, I took the plunge, packed my bags, and started a whole new adventure. Since then, I’ve completely reinvented myself, embraced change, and fallen madly in love with the idea of growth. I believe in learning, evolving, and creating a life that excites you—and I love sharing that energy with everyone I meet.
These days, you’ll find me at home with the love of my life, Tony (who I finally married after 10 years together!), and our little Romanian rescue cat, Nova—who may or may not be the real boss of the house. When I’m not officiating weddings, I’m either binge-watching films, getting lost in a book, or doing some kind of exercise (because I’m that person who actually enjoys burpees). And yes, all of this is fuelled by copious amounts of coffee
I’m a sucker for romance, rom-coms, and all things cheesy. My Spotify is permanently stuck in a time warp of teen angst—think My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, and Paramore—right alongside Queen B, Elvis, and Harry Styles (because balance is key).
I’ve always had a deep passion for connecting with people, and I believe that every special moment in life deserves to be celebrated in a way that’s meaningful, personal, and totally you. That’s why I became a celebrant—to help couples and families create ceremonies that feel just right for them.
A naming ceremony, wedding, or vow renewal isn’t just an event—it’s the start of something new. A new chapter, a new adventure, a new journey together. And who better to share that with than me?
